简介：At the age of seven, Zhu Xiaoying drinks poison in Xu Feimo's place, leaving her mind permanently frozen at that age. Years later, on her way to fulfill an arranged marriage, a twist of fate puts her in the bridal sedan meant for Governor Xu Fengqing. The groom caught in this misunderstanding flies kites with her, builds her a swing, searches everywhere for doctors to treat her, and patiently teaches her to write her own name, one stroke at a time. For the first time, she learns what it feels like to be treated with genuine kindness. When the truth finally comes to light, her childhood sweetheart returns for her. The mistaken marriage forces her to make a choice, and she ultimately chooses the man who taught her how to love herself. Like a firefly rescued from the mud, she finally shines as a light in the eyes of the one who truly understands her.
