简介：Lu Xiaoning, once a wealthy heiress, was abducted into the mountains for eight years and was forced to give birth to a daughter, Chen Zhaodi. Years of verbal and physical abuse from Chen Zhaodi’s father left her with severe psychological trauma. When Chen Zhaodi turned seven, Lu Xiaoning’s older brother found them in the mountains and brought Lu Xiaoning home. Chen Zhaodi followed them back, sitting in the trunk of the car. However, the mentally unstable Lu Xiaoning rejected Chen Zhaodi completely. Facing a mother, uncle, and even an older brother who didn’t want her, Chen Zhaodi gradually realized that she didn’t belong in her mother’s world. The distance between mother and daughter grew wider and wider, until many years later, they finally untangled the knots in their hearts and walked out of the pain that had trapped them for so long.
