Susan, a humble village restaurant worker, is brought to the city by her son, but Vivian’s cousin Lisa mistakes her for a thief and viciously insults her. Vivian then also assumes Susan is a fraud and openly belittles her. No matter how Susan defends herself, no one believes her, and she is repeatedly humiliated. In the end, Roger steps in to protect his mother, shocking everyone when they learn that the woman they looked down on is actually the mother of the powerful chairman. Their remorse comes too late. Determined to restore his mother’s dignity, Roger vows to hold everyone who bullied her accountable and make them pay for their cruelty.
