简介：In Laswell City, a string of bizarre murders occurs, each victim found with their bones deliberately broken. Forensic anthropologist Evelyn and Detective Jack dig into the cases and discover that all the victims are linked to the St. Anna Sanatorium fire twenty years ago—a “tragic accident” that supposedly claimed Evelyn’s parents. Through the remaining skeletal evidence, Evelyn uncovers a chilling truth: the sanatorium once hid illegal human experiments behind the guise of medical treatment, and its director, Marcus, deliberately started the fire to erase his crimes. Her parents did not die in the blaze; they were murdered by Marcus for knowing too much. Just as Evelyn and Jack close in on the full truth, the real mastermind steps out of the shadows—Lilith, the only survivor of the St. Anna fire and the architect of a revenge plan that has been brewing for two decades.
