简介：Born into an ancient witch family, Lovett is forced to bear a cruel destiny: every man she loves must pass a “true love test” designed by her sister, Vine. Any lover who falls for Vine’s temptation is drained of life and turned into a sacrifice to strengthen the family’s magic. Lovett is not a protected heir, but a beautiful bait used to lure men to their doom. For years she loses love after love, working in a bar and using her charm to draw victims to the family. Then she meets Elliot, whom she believes to be her fated true love, and she is ready to give up her life for him. But Elliot is just an ordinary man, obsessed with her looks and easily seduced by Vine beside the swimming pool. At the same time, Lovett accidentally rescues Charlie, a gravely injured young werewolf heir known as cold and arrogant, who proves to be warm and fiercely loyal to her. While recovering and hunting his enemies, Charlie steadily becomes part of Lovett’s world. When Vine finally ensnares Elliot completely, the so‑called “true love test” is exposed as a cruel family ruse to maintain power. Elliot ends up as Vine’s sacrifice, and the one who never wavers and is truly willing to give up everything for Lovett is Charlie. In the end, Charlie relinquishes his werewolf powers for love; as the magic fades, Lovett is freed from her curse. Together they break away from the witch family, become ordinary humans, and spend the rest of their lives side by side.
