简介：When Xu Zhixia was thirteen, she met Xiao Ye, the boy next door—a rough young troublemaker with his defenses always up. In the past, Xu Zhixia’s mother, Fang Qing, had done everything she could to help Xiao Ye because she couldn’t bear to live with a guilty conscience. Later, when Xu Zhixia found herself with nowhere to turn, Xiao Ye gave up everything to pull her out of the mire. These two broken, struggling children depend on each other as they work hard to grow up, slowly turning happiness into something real. In this city of Yuhe, summer is especially long. They met in summer, their fates changed in summer, and they fell in love in summer. Xu Zhixia leaves the city, while Xiao Ye stays behind to watch over it. He lifts her life up, hoping she will fly higher and farther. And if she ever grows tired, she will always have a home to return to. Everyone suffers through the heat, but I love the long days of summer.
