简介：Li Yin, a sharp and perceptive young woman, is unexpectedly hired by Huo Shiyue—the fourth son of the Huo family—to pose as his girlfriend in order to test the feelings of Lu Jingyu, the school beauty he has his eye on, whilst trying to escape her obsessive ex-boyfriend. Li had originally intended simply to collect her payment, complete the task and get out of there as quickly as possible, but on her very first visit, she runs into her ex—Huo Xiao, the second son of the Huo family—and finds herself caught in the middle of a tense standoff between the two brothers. Huo Xiao, who had been dumped years ago after concealing his identity, harboured deep, obsessive feelings for Li and continually meddled in their affairs. On campus, Li repeatedly defused the provocations from Lu Jingyu’s best friend, whilst Huo Shiyue gradually found himself falling for her as they spent more time together. The tug-of-war between the two brothers over Li intensified, and the tangled pasts hidden within each of them gradually came to light.
