简介：Bai Luoyu wants to stop Zhao Yu from becoming her stepmother, so she decides to seduce Chen Ji, Zhao Yu’s half-brother, and plans to marry into his family. That way, she can smile and call her own father “brother-in-law.”
Believing she is the one in control, Bai Luoyu has no idea that she is walking straight into a trap.
Chen Ji has been interested in her for a long time and has been waiting for her to come to him on her own. After they get married, he deliberately acts vulnerable, behaves obediently, and even uses self-sacrificing tactics to win her affection. Through his repeated efforts to draw her closer, he eventually wins her heart.
With Chen Ji’s love, support, and protection, Bai Luoyu not only succeeds in preventing Zhao Yu from becoming her stepmother, but also secures the inheritance that rightfully belongs to her.
