简介：Charlie, a criminal psychology professor at the university, has been plagued for years by the same nightmare: his late mother, dressed in blood-soaked clothes, lingers in his dreams and refuses to leave. Devoting all his energy to helping the police track down her killer—the elusive serial murderer known as “The Falcon”—he lives in the shadow of his childhood trauma and an aimless adulthood, as if wandering alone through a dark, fog-choked canyon with no clear path ahead and only loneliness at his side.
