简介：At our engagement party, my congenital heart condition became my fiancé’s childhood friend’s weapon. While no one was looking, she poured a high-dose energy drink into my champagne and swapped the plain water for my emergency medicine with strong lemon water. The moment I drank it, my heart spun out of control and stabbing pain tore through my chest, yet she just laughed, saying even as a doctor she’d never seen anyone “overreact to a little champagne and lemon water.” Guests echoed her, accusing me of faking it out of jealousy. I knelt on the floor, clutching my fiancé’s leg and begging him to call an ambulance, but under their pressure his face turned cold; he shook off my hand and walked away, insisting I’d be fine with a doctor present. With my strength fading, I could only send a desperate message to my father for help.
