简介：My name is Isa Borgia, daughter of the most powerful Don in Corvina. Afraid I’ll marry the wrong man on a reckless whim, my father arranged an engagement between me and Luca Marino, the rising heir of the Marino family. He chose the groom, but I’m at least choosing my own ring. So I go to a mafia auction. The final lot of the night is a diamond ring, and I raise my paddle. Just before the gavel comes down, an arrogant voice sounds behind me. “A little country nobody like you thinks she can outbid me? Do yourself a favor and back off.” The hall falls silent; only camera shutters click in the background. I turn to see a woman in a gold couture gown, smiling like she owns the room. Before I can respond, the auctioneer rushes to close the bid. “Sold! Congratulations to Ms. Sofia Lopez for winning our final piece—the Eternal Star!” My brows knit, anger blazing in my chest. “You ended the bidding early. Do you even have rules here?” Sofia turns, giving me a slow, razor-sharp once-over. “Rules?” She lets out a cool laugh. “I’m Luca Marino’s favorite god‑sister. Around here, I decide the rules.” I can’t help but smile. What a coincidence—she’s my fiancé’s god‑sister. I pull out my phone and call him on speaker. “Luca, your precious god‑sister just stole the engagement ring I chose. So tell me…how are you going to fix this for your future wife?”
