简介：After crashing a high-society charity gala to pitch his failing firm, brilliant but struggling financial engineer Sammy “Sam” Davis is mistaken for someone important—and suddenly finds himself swept into the orbit of icy, hyper-rational billionaire CEO Gertrude Lawson. Under pressure from her domineering father to marry or lose her position at the helm of the Lawson empire, Gertrude sees a convenient solution in Sam and proposes a no-strings, strictly contractual marriage. Desperate to save his business, Sam agrees, unaware that the Lawson dynasty is built on dangerous secrets. As their fake marriage plays out in the public eye, the lines between business arrangement and real emotion blur. Gertrude’s vengeful ex‑fiancé, Victor King, and her ruthless sister, Molly, conspire to destroy both their relationship and the company. When Sam uncovers a buried mystery linking his own family to Gertrude’s dark past, a storm of betrayal, hidden desire, and a looming corporate takeover threatens to tear everything apart. Now Sam and Gertrude must decide whether they are partners only on paper—or willing to risk everything for a love that might be real, before time runs out.
