Zhou Fang comes to Longyou Town in search of the "Yun Ji Lu" but finds nothing; instead, he accidentally discovers Cai Ying, who bears a striking resemblance to Hong Yi, and decides to kidnap her. The hidden master Zhong Ma fights Zhou Fang to the death and, before dying, tells Xiang Bai to seek out Hong Yi. To rescue Cai Ying, Xiang Bai goes to the Yunji Society, where he unexpectedly encounters Gongshu Pan, the "descendant of Luban". Meanwhile, Lin Su and his allies are plotting a grand conspiracy to use Cai Ying as a stand-in for Hong Yi.
