Synopsis：Set in the early 1930s, it follows Japan's efforts to expand its commercial activities in mainland China into the Henan region. As Japanese capital increasingly gathers, Japanese intelligence agencies also move through Zhengzhou to conduct covert investigations. The Japanese need to cooperate with the local chamber of commerce, using its name to establish a company with Japan's Toyo Takushoku Company, preparing for a monopoly over the future opening of a commercial port. Unexpectedly, this sets off a bitter rivalry among brothers within the family.
