Synopsis：On the verge of victory against the barbarians, the Empire’s Guardian Marshal, Yale Lynch, is falsely accused of treason by Empress Diana Cole, manipulated by the cunning Jay. Stripped of his rank and hunted as a traitor, Yale is forced to leave the Empire. Without its greatest protector, the Empire collapses, cities burn, and Jay defects to the enemy. Only when it is too late does Diana realize the truth, and she can only watch as Yale returns one last time—crushing the invading forces, saving the dying Empire, and then walking away forever.
