Synopsis：Young mountain herb gatherer Lin Yaoshan was rescued as a child by the old master Long Erkui at Shengny Mountain and taken as his apprentice. Agile and clever yet greedy for money, he nonetheless harbors a kind heart. After a ginseng theft case draws him into an ancient mystery tied to a leprosy hospital’s past and the legend of the meat lichen, he endures a series of events and the passing of his master Long Erkui, ultimately maturing into a new generation of herb gatherer.
