Synopsis：During the mid-Ming Dynasty, eunuchs seized power, plunging the people into misery. Following a mysterious imperial edict, General Zhou Huai'an of the Eastern Seas escorts the orphan girl Qu Ling to the Dragon Gate Inn on Dragon Gate Island, awaiting the Ghost Festival to hand her over as ordered. At the Dragon Gate Inn, the martial world converges in a turbulent undercurrent. The Eastern and Western Factories take turns making moves; innkeeper Jin Xiangyu tests them repeatedly; assassin Qiu Moyan stirs up trouble. Zhou Huai'an feels the purpose of his journey growing increasingly murky. As the Ghost Festival draws near, the ancient blood curse of Dragon Gate Island reveals a secret elixir of immortality. Eunuch Supervisor Feng of the Eastern Factory kills Qu Ling in pursuit of that elixir. Will Zhou Huai'an obey the ambitious Eunuch Feng for the honor of his clan, or rise up according to his inner justice? A life-and-death struggle between righteousness and evil begins.
