Many years ago, a sorcerer came to a desolate village seeking lodging. The villagers accidentally discovered that he was performing a ritual to resurrect his wife's corpse. In terror, they burned the sorcerer's wife. Enraged, the sorcerer cast the most vicious curse upon the village—the Hungry Ghost Curse. From then on, the villagers could no longer eat, leading them to turn on each other and kill one another. It is said that those who die as hungry ghosts can never be reincarnated unless they find a substitute... Years later, the occult specialists Jiang Shuo and Qin Yiheng received a mysterious major assignment. They drove toward that cursed village from years ago, only to find an abandoned hotel. Strange incidents keep occurring in this desolate hotel, with disappearances happening one after another.
