Synopsis：One night, Wu Yongqun, driving while fatigued, hits a pregnant woman and flees the scene in a panic. Soon after, overcome by guilt, he returns to help her, only to find she has vanished. From then on, Wu begins to suffer from hallucinations, frequently seeing a "vengeful spirit" demanding his life, while strange deaths start occurring around him. On the verge of a mental breakdown, Wu is referred by his brother-in-law, who is a police officer, to a prominent local psychologist, Huang Zhengbin, for counseling. As the therapy progresses, Wu is shocked to discover that the pregnant woman he hit and who later disappeared is none other than Huang Zhengbin's wife—and Huang himself has been searching for her.
